David Jennings, Principal
My name is David Jennings, Principal at Maize Central Elementary. I'm an undergraduate of KSU, a graduate in Education Administration from WSU and a have a District Level certificate from FHSU. I began my career as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and now a principal. I have four children who have all gone through the Maize district and another in fourth grade currently. My wife works as a behavior coach for the district. My goal is to provide a positive learning experience for our students, families and staff plus developing positive working relationships.
Welcome to Maize Central Elementary-Home of the Mustangs! It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. The entire staff thanks you for entrusting your child to us. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2024-25 school year.

Support Staff
Our secretaries manage administrative tasks, support communication between staff, students, and parents, and ensure the smooth operation of the school office. Our counselors support students' emotional, social, and academic development by providing guidance, resources, and a safe space to address their needs. Our school nurse cares for the health and wellness of students, including administering medication. Learn about health services in the district.
